The Plug Bottom is moved toward the Plug Top to simulate the bolt attachment. Then the Plug Top
and Bottom moves to the left to seat the diaphragm against the Cage Inner Diameter to simulate the
insertion of the components into the valve. The Bonnet is seated on the Cage Body which
compresses the diaphragm into the groove in the Cage Body. The Plug Top and Bottom Assembly are
moved to the right which causes the diaphragm to lift off of the Cage Inner Diameter. The
diaphragm is pushed against the Cage Inner Diameter due to the application of pressure. See

This type of modeling can be used to study the effects of the manufacturing/assembly process on the
component of interest. The effect the operation loading conditions can then be evaluated while
being super-positioned on the effects of the manufacturing/assembly process.
