analysis of all types of tank and cryogenic tank cars, open top and
covered hopper cars (both stub and through sill), gondolas, high side
gondolas, box cars, flat cars, bulkhead flats, pulp wood, plastic
pellet, pressure differential, tank and inter-modal articulated well,
stand-alone well, and spine cars, gondola cars, open and covered
hoppers (stub and thru sill), log cars; FEA Stress Analysis to AAR,
TTX, BN specifications.

LPG, Anhydrous Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide and Chlorine transport
trailers: semi & bobtail; cryogenic transports; complete design and
stress analysis. Analyzed / verified design load cases for cargo
trailers per DOT 406, 407 and 412 specs. Optimized tandem axle and
kingpin location to maximize shipping volume to comply with
inter-state bridge weight rules.

Shipping Containers
Dry Cargo Container
design and analysis; Tank Container design and stress analysis
- minimum weight design and testing. ISO Tank containers (DOT Spec 51,
IM01, IM02 and IM05) for liquified gases, industrial chemicals and
food products. Also designed / drafted ISO refrigerated and
non-refrigerated freight containers to DOD standards.
Verified compliance with international shipping codes (IMDG, RID, ADR,
etc). Performed liaison work with certification agencies (American
Bureau of Shipping, Lloyd's of London and Bureau Veritas). Managed
physical testing of above containers to ISO standards. Engaged by
international trade organization: IICL to determine the effects of
damage on ISO shipping containers; combined finite element analysis
and test laboratory analysis effort, assisting in implementation of
finite element computer generated data to establish damage criteria.

Containers, 20 and 40 foot.
- CHASSIS: Designed
truck trailer chassis for containers: 20, 40 and 45 foot.
- CHLORINE TON
CONTAINERS: Designed / drafted chlorine ton containers per DOT 106A
and 110A specs. Also designed stacking frame for shipping / storage.
